Thanksgiving

This year, our little family went down the hill via Oak Creek for thanksgiving.
It was absolutely beautiful.
visiting Papa at work- *sigh* Gorgeous!
We rode motos before sitting down to an amazing meal Marilyn put on. I love thanksgiving and reflecting on all there is to be grateful for.

Our boys are getting sooo big!!

Pictures with Santa from our Ward Christmas Party!! :)

Saturday, November 6

October flew by (like this entire year has!)

Few pics from the past month-

I took the boys up to Snowbowl after school one day to see the fall colors. (Such a pretty drive) The Aspen's were gorgeous!

Man, it was chilly then! We've had such a warm week this past week and it's been SOOOOOOO welcomed! I've been wearing SHORTS people! :)

Brock cracks me up.

Nana & Papa came up again for the boys' Primary Program. They did an awesome job. Afterwards we came home for lunch and Papa busted out the picture books to look at with the boys. This is one of their favorite things to do.

Homework time! Brock actually likes this. He's a cheeser.

Bodie used to like it... not so much anymore. He's putting on a happy face here. :)

Pre-Halloween festivities: Carving the pumpkin.
We only got to one this year. They thought the insides were pretty gross. :) Bodie carved this one all by himself! (Probably because Brock didn't really care to, and I wouldn't let Wyatt near the little carving tools! He's crazy.)

AT THE TRUNK or TREAT-
Brock: Vampire/Count Dracula; Bodie: motox racer; Wyatt: Ghost

My parents came to the trunk or treat and surprised the boys. It was pretty funny. It took them a minute to compute that they were seeing Grandma...as a WITCH. (she has been every year since I can remember. LOVE it!)

We had a wonderful Christmas. My parents came up as well as Jess's. We are so lucky!

How did I not get a pic. of my in-laws!? :(

We had a fabulous dinner on Christmas Eve that the women prepared - It was so fun to cook together. Afterwards we read Luke 2, and then talked about the birth of our Savior and why we celebrate Christmas.
Then the boys opened their pj's from Great-Aunt Mary....

Christmas Day was a whirlwind of excitement. After gifts were opened, Homemade waffles were made (reminds me of my Grandpa) along w/ eggs, bacon & sausage, and of course O.J. It was perfect. I love my little family and loved having both sets of parents there to share the love...

Wyatt liked being behind Papa's camera! :)

Then we headed up to the church and caught the tail-end of the trunk-or-treat (I had totally misread the time...I do that too often. grrr) :) It was a fun night.

Happy Easter.
I love this time of year. The choir sang in church today a beautiful Easter Message... "He Is Risen". I love singing in the choir. Music is so powerful. Jess is working today, but we had a nice few days w/ family...

We headed down to the in-laws on Friday... We started out the day w/ boys in trees....

It's AUNTIE!!!! So fun having this girl around. She "whipped" up an apron for me... (how the heck did I get out of there w/out it??) The boys- you can see - are in heaven.

The outdoor pizza oven looks awesome and just needs a few more finishing touches...
