Black River 2008
Fishing IS f u n!!!

After some slight hesitation, I decided to go on the annual Black River fishing trip. (We missed you Doug) Bodie and Jess were the veteran fishermen of the trip. Shane, Brock and I were new inductees! It was a great time. I am so proud of Bodie for hiking all the way in and OUT!!! Brock had a pretty cush ride on Dad's shoulders! I know this place has spoiled me for future trips elsewhere. We caught fish, after fish, after fish...
Thank you Mom for coming and staying with WYs-guy. There's no way we could've done it with him!!!

Here they are, pictures from Jess's and Bodie's fishing trip with Shane. For not being much of a fish person, it was good eating. I am expanding my palate as I grow older.

I honestly don't know how this kid was able to spend at least 5 hrs. on a fishing boat and not go crazy. I think I would...

I mean, I've enjoyed fishing, (all three, maybe two, times in my life that I've been) - but I think I'd just feel trapped if I had to stay on a little boat for so long...and sit...and wait...
We have a family fishing trip coming up...we'll see how it goes!

I think Bodie made a new best friend

Bodie is becoming quite the fisherman. He got to go w/ Jess last week. (Unbeknownst to me it'd be a 7 hr. trip! *huff*) Ohwell, they had a great time....How is he holding this fish up??!
