My baby is five!

Love this kiddo. He's got spunk. He came 4 weeks early and has always proven to want to keep up with his brothers. This year he has ruled his preschool, learned to ride a motorcycle, born his testimony at the pulpit, been a great help (most the time) to mom at home. He is the only one of his brothers that 'loves' my cooking; "awh, I love it mom!" Gives me compliments, or says "sure mom!" when I ask him to unload the dishwasher. He can sweet talk me into anything. He has an unhealthy obsession with matches/candles/ etc. He has been telling people lately that they need to grow a baby, he already talks about girls and he is a little carbon copy of his daddy. He also says the sweetest prayers. Love you Wyatt Stanley.

Wyatt turns FOUR! (my BABY!) :)

(McKay, Greysen, Wyatt)

Wyatt wanted to go to the Aquaplex for his birthday. He invited some friends, and much to his brothers dismay, had his party during school hours!

Jess was a trooper and swam with the kiddos (not that it looks like I twisted his arm or anything!) -they all had a great time!! :)

Afterwards we took them to McDonalds for ice cream sundaes (and nuggets). We had them sufficiently worn out! :)

That night we celebrated with our little family w/ some cake... Wyatt put an extra candle on for 'good luck'.

Wyatt is a fun kid. He loves life and loves to be in the middle of everything. He's a charmer and tries to get away with anything and everything. He's too cool for me though -I have to wrestle him for a kiss, but has no problem taking them from Miss Angie! He really, really, really loves going to pre-school and gets upset when I come pick him up. And he says the funniest things... Oh, I wish I would write them down! Happy birthday kiddo.

Wy-not (that's what his Nana calls him)

Found these pictures from a while back. Love this kid, even if he has an obsession with matches...and lighting them. This kid needs to be watched. at. all. times. It's necessary to hide things from him.
(note the multiple shirts!) :)

Dog Tired

Oh, this boy melts my heart!

Tonight we were in the kitchen and he was eating frozen blueberries.

"I wanna get married mom."

"You want to get married?"

"Uh, huh."

"To who?"

"To you." He he smiled sheepishly.

He's the first of my boys to say that.

Thursday, April 1

I haven't been too good at taking pics lately. I finally uploaded what I had on the camera, since my battery is dead... These made me smile.

I had asked Wyatt to take a nap (or told him he needed to) and he cried because he didn't want to. Brock was there and he said, "Hey, do you want me to read to you?" And this is what happened next.

It was one of those wonderful moments as a parent that makes you all warm and fuzzy inside.

I have been tickled with Brock lately. He has started riding Bodie's old bike. He can really get going now, with the bigger tires. I watch him ride, this little guy on this seemingly BIG bike and I just grin. He is growing up so fast. The same day he offered to read to Wyatt (and lay down with him) Brock asked me to come outside and watch him ride b/c he was going to try Bodie's big jump. I followed him outside and suggested he try the smaller one first, to get 'warmed up'. I could NOT believe he was trying this. So he comes around the corner, goes up the ramp, bike in the air, he has lost contact with the peddles, comes down and totally eats it. He is pissed. (I don't know how to better describe it) He was a yelling and a hollering. First thing I told him was, "Way to bail kiddo!" and I grabbed him and told him to calm down and lets talk about what happened. He sat in my lap and we looked at the ramp. I told him to look at his bike and how far he had jumped. (which got him pretty excited) "You just lost contact with your peddles, and that's why you fell off when you landed. -You've got it! Go try it again!" So there he was going for it again.

He's got it. :) The other day I saw him go off the bigger jump. Woah. He needs more speed, but he landed it! :)

Wyatt turns T H R E E.
Photobucket
He is so in love w/ Thomas the Train - so we made a train cake (Bodie had a train cake too on his 3rd b-day!) psych. It was his 4th. :)
Photobucket

The boys had fun decorating it.
Photobucket

Notice Wyatt is blowing out q-tips! We had to improvise! Jess did a major over-haul of the cupboards a few days earlier and tossed out the candles (I'm not complaining!)
Photobucket

Wyatt picked out his plates too. :)
Photobucket

He didn't have a 'p a r t y' -But seemed happy w/ his family around him. :) I love this stinker. He makes me laugh and laugh all the time and gets me fuming too! The stuff he pulls! It is an understatement to say he keeps us on our toes. On the other hand, he is so thoughtful and sweet. He is always the kiddo wanting another hug & kiss when you are leaving and always says "Have a good time, bye, love you!" It is sweet. He loves to cuddle and always says, "sleep with me, momma" and wraps is little arms around my neck. He gets excited about little things and his new favorite word is: Awwwwwwwwesome! Love you Wy-se guy.

WYATT IN THE KITCHEN....

This was about 9 o'clock at night. I came around the corner to find this kid out of bed - taking care of business. Got the pan out, the egg, cracked it and was ready to cook (I just needed to turn the stove on for him -thank goodness)
Photobucket

Good job kiddo!
PhotobucketPhotobucket

NOT. SO. GOOD. JOB.....

Jess captured Wyatt's attempt to make oatmeal. (This is what happens when Mom is in the shower)
Photobucket

Apparently, I'm guessing, he didn't add any water - just oatmeal, almonds and Agave sweetener...
Photobucket

"Is There a Problem?"
Photobucket

Notice the time on the microwave??
Photobucket
(checking his cut from playing w/ knives... not kidding)

Wednesday, May 13

One day it's not going to turn out so well for Brock...

Wednesday, April 15

SLAM DUNK

Photobucket
Wyatt went in to 'do his bidness' and Jess and I heard him start screaming bloody murder. Jess ran in to check on him and got about 1/2 way there when he turned and said to bring the camera....
Poor kid! His little back side was SOAKEN wet. ewwww. So we put the seat down, he took care of what he needed to and went in the bath. :)
Photobucket
(yes we do have a seat to put on the toilet for little bottoms, but Wyatt hasn't really been big on it. -Maybe now he will be.) :)

THIS KID.....is crazy.

We were all outside, the boys, Jess & I. Jess needed help w/ something out front so we simply walked around the house to complete our short task. As I walk through the side gate into the back yard something caught my eye. I looked up and there was my little two year old ON THE ROOF. Smiling of course.
Photobucket

The ladder was immediately dug out of the snow pile and taken down (Jess used it to get up on the roof to shovel snow)
Photobucket
My kids often leave me speechless. Sooo grateful everything ended well. That could've been really, really bad.

Thursday, February 5

Most my pictures have been of food lately - but here are a few of my little guy...snagging my food... :)

He had a little trouble applying the mascara properly...
Photobucket

Photobucket

I love this face.
Photobucket

I think this is such a cute picture. He is one happy kiddo.
Photobucket

And this one is just funny! He is a character!
Photobucket

Happy week! -Wait, it's already Thursday!!!! :) I am getting my haircut tomorrow...and that makes me really happy!!!

Thursday, January 22

Feeling LuCKy to have this kid in my life... I just had a hint of nostalgia -when I was little and had my Mom all to myself (I was the youngest). I know more and more that I am going to miss these moments when these 'crazy' boys are grown and 'too cool' for me.

Sunday, December 14

WYATT enters toddlerdom...
and he got a cake that best represents his ever growing infatuation with the man named spidey.
Photobucket

He was excited to get a hold of those little guys!
Photobucket

Photobucket
The second one was a bit tougher to get out...But big brother was right there to make sure the job got done!
Photobucket
This is Wyatt thinking, "Bro, get your hands off my cake."
Photobucket
A little taste of the pure sugar spidey web.
Photobucket
We plopped the top off for Wyatt to have his own little cake and then dug in to this bad boy.
Photobucket
Luckily he had help opening the presents... Or I should say, luckily he didn't mind the help. :)
Photobucket

Photobucket
This is Wyatt yelling, "Spiderman!" (I dee man)
Photobucket
I love how excited he got over the simplest of gifts! :) (Of course they all had to do with spiderman)
Photobucket
He wasn't too fond of the 'spiderwebs' Dad shot at him though....
Photobucket
But Brock was diggin it! And so I sent all 4 boys outside....
Photobucket
So my house didn't look like this... :) It was fun.

Who knew my little 4-week early 6lb squirt would get so big on me? :(
